MDM at Mercedes-Benz

The Material Data Manager by VESCON is an internet-based system for the management of component  and device data. Mercedes-Benz uses the software solution Material Data Manager (MDM) worldwide.

All specifications of components (material approval lists) will be communicated and maintained via the Material Data Manager.

The data can be accessed online by any users in some way or other involved in the planning and construction of plants and machines for Mercedes-Benz.

VESCON and Mercedes-Benz regard the Material Data Manager as a comprehensive database to be used by device manufacturers/suppliers and plant operators. The MDM is by no means meant to be used exclusively by Mercedes-Benz, but is supposed to be provided to all those interested in this application.
